I am mesmerized by the simplest mark making and the process which brings a fascination with only the mark and the patterns they create. My newer work flows from my persistent observation of balance in the natural world, and my personal fascination with the simplicity of an idea. Seeing balance, rhythm, and pattern, and the opposite of all four, has always drawn me down a path of imagery, whether printmaking, stitching, bookmaking and now drawing.
